The JAPAN CUP 2025
Dear members and guests, Starting November 8th Royal Varuna Yacht Club will be hosting our 2025 rendition of the Japan Cup! We look forward to seeing you all here.
This is a Club Regatta which is open to all our members and their guests. No entry fee and your support is always appreciated!
GERMAN CUP 2025
The German Cup 2025 & Oktoberfest – A Great Success!
On the weekend of October 11–12, 2025, the Royal Varuna Yacht Club proudly hosted the annual German Cup Regatta. With over 70 sailors competing across a variety of boat classes, the two-day event featured an exciting long-distance race on Day 1, followed by close mark-rounding action on Day 2.
After the first day of racing, the Club came alive with Oktoberfest celebrations — complete with free-flowing beer and wine and an abundant buffet that had something for everyone.
A heartfelt thank you to all our members, and especially to those who helped sponsor and support the event — we couldn’t have done it without you!
We’re already looking forward to next year’s edition.

ITALIAN CUP 2025
The Italian Cup – A Resounding Success at Royal Varuna Yacht Club
On August 16th, Royal Varuna Yacht Club proudly hosted the inaugural Italian Cup, an outstanding success both on and off the water. With over 70 sailors competing across more than 40 boats, the racing was a truly spectacular sight.
The day concluded with a memorable prize-giving ceremony and celebrations that carried on well into the evening, creating a wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and festivity. We extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors, members, and staff whose support and dedication made this event possible.
We look forward with great anticipation to the next edition of the Italian Cup, as well as the many exciting Club Regattas to come in the months ahead.

As a member of the Royal Varuna Yacht Club, you can enjoy reciprocal privileges with yacht and sailing clubs worldwide (subject to each club’s conditions). Before visiting, we recommend contacting the reciprocal club directly for details. Members are also advised to request a letter of introduction from the RVYC office and to carry their membership card at all times.
