Ordinary Membership
Member's spouse and children under 21 years of age, have the right to use the facilities of the club.
Upon reaching the age of 21, children of members are required to become
Ordinary Members. In such case the Entrance Fee is waived.
Entrance fee 60,000 baht
Monthly Subscription 2,600 baht
Special payment scheme: 24 consecutive monthly payment 6,200 baht. Thereafter, monthly subscription is payable at regular rates.
Single Membership
Entrance fee 40,000 baht
Monthly Subscription 2,300 baht
Special payment scheme: 24 consecutive monthly payment 4,700 baht. Thereafter, monthly subscription is payable at regular rates.
Temporary non-resident Membership
Monthly Subscription 5,300 baht
Daily visit fee 500 baht
Special Junior Participant Scheme
A scheme for young sailors, 14-20 years of age, who wish to sail, or learn to sail, but whose parents are not members of the Club.
This scheme does not allow Ordinary Membership privileges such as voting rights, signing rights or right to use the Club's accommodations.
Arrangements can be made to use the Club's boat storage facilities at normal rates. Upon turning 21 years of age must apply to become Ordinary Members.
Acceptance fee 1,070 baht
Daily visit fee 107 baht
Thai Armed Services Membership
Monthly Subscription 1,300 baht up to 30 years
Monthly Subscription 2,300 baht over to 30 years
Absent Membership
In advance, once only 10,700 baht
Entrance fees are to be paid by crossed cheque made payable to "Royal Varuna Yacht Club"; in cash; by credit card; or else wrapped up as part of on going payments made under the Letter of Consent system.
Subscription and Rack fees as well as locker fees, box fees and long-term accommodation rental are to be paid
by direct debit to their bank account by a standing Banker's Order.
Applicants for membership will be asked to submit a Letter of Consent after membership has been approved by the Committee.
Restaurant and bar bills, boat rental fees, guest fees, nightly accommodation rental, etc. can be added to the monthly bill, but only if open consent to do so is given to the Member's relevant bank (i.e. the Member has provided a Letter of Consent);
otherwise all such incidentals shall be paid to the cashier by credit card, crossed cheque or cash after each visit to the club (prior to leaving the club)
