LASER Sailing Course announcement for Beginners

RVYC will organize a weekend course for beginners in Laser sailing
on Saturday and April 10 and  Sunday April 11, 2010.
The boat rental is included in the fee, which is THB 3,500.- for the whole weekend.
Khun Oat will be the coach assisted by Khun Jimmy.
You will receive a booklet with basic sailing technics/instructions.
The course is focussed to be an introduction to sailing.
Maximum six sailors.

Every sailor should make sure to have a life jacket ( some available at RVYC).
It is advised to do the follow up course on May 8 and 9.

Program Saturday April 10
  9.30 - Rigging the boat
10.30 - Briefing on basic sailing, safety, wind direction, tack
11.00 - Capsizing, steering and stopping the boat
12.30 - Lunch
13.30 - Reaching
15.00 - briefing tacking and gibing around the mark.
15.30 - Tacking
16.30 - washing boats and debriefing
17.00 - end of first day

Program Sunday April 11:
 9.00 - Rigging boats
 9.30 - Briefing 
10.00 - Practice on the water, reaching
12.30 - Lunch
13.30 - Short briefing on morning challenges
14.00 - Practice on the water
16.00 - washing boats and debriefing
16.30 - end of weekend course.
