  • Eligibility Members of the RVYC, their invited guests and sailors from OMYC.
    Entry Fee A fee of 300 Baht per person for Adults, 100 Baht per person for Opti and Byte Sailors. 600 Baht per boat for keelboats from OMYC.
    Classes All Classes recognised by the RVYC. The F18 class will sail as a separate class. The Open class catamarans can be divided in doublehanded boats and singlehanded boats, each with their own start, provided both entities have at least 5 boats.. All monohulls will race in the Monohull Class, but the Laser 4.7 group can have its own start, provided there is a minimum of 5 boats. The Opties start in their own class. The Byte CII class will sail as a separate class.

    Sailing Instructions Will be available on the Notice Board.
    Course Triangle or Windward-Leeward courses for all on Saturday and on Sunday for the Monohulls. On Sunday a long distance course for the catamarans and keelboats.
    Time Limit Sixty minutes for round the buoys courses, three hours for a long distance course.
    Penalty System For the multi-hull classes, rules 44.1 and 44.2 are changed so that one turn including one tack and one gybe is required.

    History The Varuna Cup was started when the catamarans were no longer welcome at the Pukhet Kings Cup.
